Winn Elementary School

The Montessori Method was developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, an Italian physician, scientist and advocate for the rights of women and children, over 110 years ago. Dr. Montessori developed her Method through scientific observation and based it upon specific developmental milestones each child experiences. Montessori education aims to uncover the unique potential of each child in the hopes of transforming the world into a more peaceful and just place.
