The Montessori School of Camden

The Montessori School of Camden is a public-charter school in Camden, SC. We serve students age 6weeks-Grade 8. We are accredited by MEPI, recognized as an ABC Quality Level B child care center, and were awarded a Gold School of Excellence in Elementary ELA by the Charter Institute at Erskine. MSC started in 1979 and has had a long history of being a beacon for Montessori education in the state.

The MSC staff is a diverse group of life-long learners, many of whom have been on staff for more than 10-15 years. Staff hold Montessori credentials from MEPI/MACTE and AMS/MACTE. We are growing and expanding our program and are looking forward to bringing new team members to join us.

As a public charter school we are afforded a level of autonomy that allows us to sustain authentic Montessori environments.
