Rising Sun Montessori School

With a foundation in the Montessori Method, Rising Sun Montessori Charter School offers traditional subject areas of Math, Science, English, Social Studies, and Art, in line with the Common Core State Standards. Students’ coursework will prepare them for both life, and the world of work.

Rising Sun Montessori is open to all families in and outside of El Dorado County with children in grades TK-8. The Charter School endeavors to provide students and their families a strong sense of community, multi-age classrooms, fine arts, and the opportunity to learn in a multi-sensory environment with a class size that ranges from 24-28 students.
