Montessori Discovery School

Our school is committed to a lifelong love of learning through Montessori education from 18 months-12 years old. We are looking for a team member who is eager to learn from a seasoned Montessori mentor teacher in a caring and compassionate environment. MDS values community, collaboration, and the importance of communication.

Located in beautiful southeastern Connecticut, MDS is a breath of fresh air from the busy city life. Our wetlands provide outdoor explorations for our students as well as a home for our llamas and chickens. Children and staff learn to care for our environment and our animals while gaining independence through our Montessori curriculum.

At MDS we have five words that represent our school: respect, community, responsibility, independence, and curiosity. Throughout the last 35 years, MDS has built a caring and compassionate foundation for their students, families, and employees to grow professionally and personally through a love of Montessori education.
