Montessori Allegro

At Montessori Allegro, our focus is allowing the child’s character to develop through experience. To learn to make good choices, a student must first be allowed to make choices at all. So through student directed activities and projects with our collective guidance and mentor ship, students will form a more comprehensive, meaningful understanding of the world in which they live, the self-efficacy that only trial, error, and eventual accomplishment allows to successfully act upon it, and the experience with themselves, their capacities, and passions to choose what part of our world's culture they wish to contribute to. By treating them as the whole people they are, allowing them to move and act in and upon the world, without the baggage of shame, guilt and fear that hold so many back; With their bodies directed by their minds and hearts, they will receive an education that truly prepares them for meaningful life.
