Garfield Montessori School is a charming, two-classroom Primary school located on the beautiful, tree-covered Clayton Campus near the Denver Zoo and Museum of Nature and Science. In our 38th year, GMS has managed to remain a "best kept secret" and we rely almost completely on parents who refer their friends and family to our school every year. Each authentic Montessori classroom has a Lead Teacher, two full time Assistant Teachers, and a maximum of 20 students. Our parents are phenomenal. The Director is Montessori trained (Elementary, AMS) and the Board are totally 100% behind the school and its success. Come see why GMS is a great place to work!

Qualifications:
We prefer someone who has been through at least one 3-year cycle in a Primary Classroom as the Lead/Guide. We are totally open to AMS or AMI or other MACTE-accredited trained teachers.

Description of Community:
GMS has lovely families who love to connect with each other at Back to School and Parent Ed events, as well as social (dining out) events we have each year. The children love their school, they separate happily in the morning, and our school is a happy place for someone who loves to teach. We are excited to meet you!
