Escola Quintinha

Escola Quintinha is a small homeschool for ages 5-7, outside the city of Viseu in northern Portugal.

The school is situated on a small farm with animals, garden, orchards, and woodlands nearby.  Primary instruction is in Portuguese and English.

We follow Maria Montessori's philosophy and principles.

Due to our school's setting and our personal backgrounds, we have a particular emphasis on explorations in nature, agriculture, music, and the arts.  We delight in cultural exchanges and field trips/travel.
