Founded in 1968, CMS is a private, nonprofit school, which has served as a model for the education community in Birmingham, AL for almost fifty years. CMS currently enrolls 240 students, aged 18 months to 6th grade, from 21 different zip codes in the metropolitan area. We have many highly trained Montessori professionals on our teaching staff, including experienced teacher-trainers.
