CENTRAL MONTESSORI SCHOOL

Central Montessori School is a traditional Montessori program.  We are Richmond's only urban Montessori school.  Central opened its doors in November 2007 with one classroom.

Central offers a year round and full day academic program that runs from 8 to 5 with an option for early drop off and late pick up.  

We have developed a program that encompasses six different developmental levels; infant, toddler, primary, lower elementary, upper elementary and middle school.

Central works closely with our parent association to provide our community with many wonderful family-friendly venues throughout the year.  We actively support other programs through our volunteer efforts as well.

Central Montessori School offers children ages 3 months to 12 years old an alternative education rooted in the philosophy, methodology and teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori.
