Alpine Montessori School

Lead Primary Teacher sought for 3-6 class at 32 year old Alpine Montessori School, starting August of 2022. Alpine is a town of 6,000, located in the beautiful high and dry mountainous of the West Texas Chihuahuan Desert, home to Sul Ross State University, Big Bend Nat'l and State Parks, Fort Davis Nat'l Historic Site, Davis Mountain State Park, the Museum of the Big Bend, McDonald’s Observatory, Balmorhea (largest spring fed pool in the state) and the art community of Marfa. Alpine is host to several annual festivals, events, and conferences throughout the year.

Montessori 3-6 certification is required of all lead teachers. We accept applications from teachers currently enrolled in a Montessori certification program whose coursework and practicum may be ongoing once the contract begins at our school. We may offer assistance in training for the right candidate with an educational background and experience in a Montessori classroom. Flexible teaching schedule, generous vacations and bonuses offered. Relocation allowance and free bnb for one month while getting settled in. Salary commensurate with experience, starting at $30,000.
