Echo Hu

Worked as a Mandarin teacher to teach Chinese as a second language in a Montessori bilingual Casa classroom with 25 children, coordinated and assisted teaching activities and various events with an AMI 3-6 certified native English-speaking teacher for three years.

After the completion of AMI primary training and graduated with the Postgraduate Diploma in Education in 2013, worked as a Mandarin-speaking lead guide with an AMI certified English teacher, took full responsibilities of the whole class with 25 children, set up the bilingual environment, prepared and maintained materials, developed lesson plans for each student, shared observations and completed records as well as progress reports, communicated with parents promptly via emails, phone calls and parent workshop, held two parent-teacher conferences yearly, coordinated classroom and school events.
