Toddler Montessori Teacher

An opportunity to be one of the founding teachers of a new school! Gan Montessori is a brand new preschool program starting in Mt. Kisco, NY

It will open in September 2021 with a toddler class of 10 children. 

In September 2022 the school will move into a new, state of the art facility in Mt Kisco, and open to children 18 months - 5 years old. 

We are specifically looking for someone who has a deep love for children, is warm, nurturing, passionate and knowledgeable in the Montessori method, and open to learning about the Jewish culture. 

Requirements:  

• Montessori diploma from any AMI, AMS or MACTE Montessori teacher training program worldwide.
• Experience in working with toddlers in a Montessori environment.
• Design and implement a Montessori classroom, plan and present age-appropriate activities for children to promote intellectual and creative growth.
• Passion for the Montessori philosophy, combined with excellence in communicating about the Montessori method to parents and community members
