Private Montessori Tutor

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Private Montessori Tutor to join our team in Miami Beach, FL. This is a part-time, on-site role working directly with children in their home environments. The tutor will provide academic support, foster Montessori learning experiences, and create personalized learning plans that respect the child’s pace and unique developmental needs.

Guide children through Montessori lessons across core domains (Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language, Culture & Sciences, Grace & Courtesy).

Develop individualized lesson plans tailored to each child’s learning journey.

Monitor and document student progress.

Create a supportive, respectful, and engaging learning environment.

Model Montessori values of patience, independence, and self-discipline.

Knowledge of Montessori philosophy and child-led learning

Ability to prepare and maintain a calm, structured learning environment

Skilled in guiding lessons across Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math, and Culture

Strong observation, documentation, and communication skills

Patience, empathy, and respect for each child’s unique development

Creative lesson planning with hands-on materials

Reliable, professional, and committed to protecting the owner’s best interest
