About the School

Ridgeline Montessori was the first public Montessori school in Oregon and has successfully served public K-8 students in Eugene, Oregon since September, 2000.  Ridgeline moved into its own building in August 2012, where the school provides an academically rigorous Montessori education to children from all walks of life.  Every day students balance their freedom to explore and think for themselves with their responsibility to work and learn within a community.  During a recent annual review by sponsoring district, Eugene SD 4J, it was noted that the School has strong reading, math and science proficiency rates on state assessments.  Also, mentioned was high instructional engagement and success with a diversity of students.  Niche rates Ridgeline as the #7 charter middle school and #10 charter elementary school in Oregon. All teachers are Montessori trained.
