Athena Montessori Academy, an established and innovative AMS private Montessori preschool in central Austin, is seeking an experienced, trainable, growth-minded assistant or support guide, working with children in our toddler program (18 months to three years) or our Primary program (2 ½ to six years) for the 2021-2022 school year (position could start as soon at June 2021). Candidate will receive guidance and training from experienced Montessori guides, administrators, and mentors.
Candidates should have at least two years’ experience working in a school or licensed childcare facility. Ideal candidates have excellent communication skills, ease with parent communication, experience working with this age group, a degree related to psychology or education, and are passionate about the education of the young child for a better world. We are a school that not only aspires to meet the children’s academic development, but we also hold their social and emotional development in high regard.
