We have an exciting opening in our Middle School program for a MACTE credentialed Montessori Guide (Adolescence I) effective immediately. Consideration will also be given to candidates currently pursuing MACTE credentialing. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established program in an accredited school. The right candidate is a team-player and enthusiastic proponent of the Montessori Method as it applies to adolescents. The candidate can be a recent graduate (or about to graduate), or an experienced teacher looking to expand their leadership skills in an independent school setting. Ideally, the candidate would have experience and a record of success teaching high school level math courses (Algebra and Geometry) as well as English/Language Arts.  Our program is taught by two Middle School guides and cocurricular instructors devoted to offering our students an intellectually stimulating curriculum, and opportunities for socio-emotional and leadership development including entrepreneurship, job internships, field trips, participation in MMUN, and other age-appropriate social outlets.  We are currently operating with restrictions designed to minimize the spread of COVID-19, which may include delivering some classes on-line via synchronous and asynchronous methods.  Compensation based on experience.

We are willing to train the right candidate for this position. Ideally, we would prefer to see experience teaching advanced Math courses to Middle School students. A MACTE adolescent credential is highly desired.
