Lead Teacher – Primary

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable, team player who loves, values, and respects children. The ideal candidate will be excited about working with a small team and becoming part of our close-knit Montessori community.

Montessori Certificate required (Either AMS or AMI at the Primary level)
3 years of classroom experience preferred
Positive, enthusiastic attitude
Love and respect for children
Strong desire to be part of a team
Associates degree or higher preferred

Preparing and maintaining beautiful and safe Montessori environments
Implementing and updating curriculum as student needs dictate
Planning, preparing, and maintaining all units of study throughout the year including practical life, sensorial, cultural, math, and language
Communicating with parents both verbally and in writing
Maintaining proper records of children's growth and needs
Working closely with and guiding classroom assistant(s)

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Basic computer skills - email, GSuite (Word)
Ability to pass background record check
