Description
We are currently looking for a 3 full day a week (part time) Early Childhood co-teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Our environment is genuinely collaborative: six staff members, including our director, teach together daily. With four teachers at a time sharing one large, beautiful classroom and 30 children, the work here is dynamic, relational, and deeply intentional. Every member of our team holds a Montessori certification, and we hold ourselves to that standard together.
We are looking for someone who has worked in a Montessori classroom or is actively completing a Montessori credential program. The right person brings a calm, welcoming presence, strong professional judgement, and a sincere love for this age group.

Start Date
August 3 with some training and teacher days the first couple weeks then fully on August 24 (first day of school)

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in or has completed an AMS, AMI, or MACTE, Montessori credential program (Early Childhood level preferred).
Experience working with children ages 3-6 in any structured educational setting. Ability to work collaboratively in a co-teaching environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completed Montessori credential (AMS, AMI, or MACTE, Early Childhood) Experience in a Montessori classroom as a teacher, assistant, or practicum student.
Demonstrated ability to build warm, consistent relationships with young children and their families.
Maintaining a calm, organized, and inspiring classroom environment.
Observing, assessing, and supporting individual student growth.
Communicating effectively with parents and school leadership.
Help maintain a prepared environment that supports independence and growth
