Lead Infant Toddler Montessori Guide

About the Role

The Montessori Infant & Toddler Guide leads an authentic Montessori classroom serving children from approximately 3 months through 24 months of age. This role is responsible for creating a peaceful, nurturing, and engaging prepared environment that supports each child's cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.

Our Guides observe each child carefully, foster independence, encourage exploration, and partner closely with families to ensure every child reaches their fullest potential.

What You'll Do

• Lead an authentic Montessori Infant & Toddler classroom.
• Prepare and maintain a beautiful, organized, and engaging Montessori environment.
• Foster each child's independence, confidence, and natural love of learning.
• Observe children's development and thoughtfully guide their individual learning journey.
• Build trusting partnerships with families through regular communication and collaboration.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and respectful classroom community.
• Collaborate with fellow Guides, administrators, and support staff to provide an exceptional educational experience.
• Maintain classroom records and documentation in accordance with school policies and licensing requirements.

• Bachelor's degree and Infant & Toddler Montessori certification from an AMS, AMI, or MACTE-accredited training program.
• Passion for authentic Montessori education and child-centered learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Collaborative, flexible, and professional approach.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth.
• Ability to actively participate in classroom activities, including lifting up to 50 pounds and supervising children outdoors.
• Authorization to work in the United States and ability to successfully complete required background checks.
