Position: Guide for Primary 3-6 Classrooms


At Paradise Place Preschool, we believe in nurturing the whole child through compassionate communication and connective learning experiences.

We utilize the Montessori curriculum with inspired aspects of Reggio Emilia and Waldorf education practices, and in summer, we take a break and enjoy a nature-based curriculum.

We're seeking individuals who embody patience, respect, and a deep understanding of early childhood development. As a Guide, you'll create a safe and engaging environment where children can thrive socially, physically, and intellectually.

Salary: $41,000 - $45,000 starting salary

1 - 3 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Childcare. Experience with a 1:10 ratio is a must.

Montessori Certification is required. (We are willing to support the right person to take a one-year Montessori training course.)

Bachelor's Degree preferred

Strong classroom management skills

Ability to multitask and maintain strong observational skills

Comfortable spending a lot of time outdoors



Collaborate with the School Director to create a nurturing classroom environment

Implement Reggio Emilia-inspired open-ended activities

Lead circle time and facilitate connective communication

Maintain and update classroom materials for children aged 3-6

Keep records of children's progress and readiness for new academic materials

Conduct parent-teacher conferences twice a year

Communicate regularly with parents through monthly newsletters

Educate parents about Montessori philosophy and materials
