The Virgin Island Montessori School is seeking an AMI or AMS trained Lower Elementary Guide to lead one of two Elementary classrooms on our beautiful campus on St. Thomas. This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate Montessorian excited about building relationships with children, parents, and colleagues in a caring community where growth is valued and encouraged. Our school is celebrating its 61st year of offering AMI and IB education to youth on the island of St. Thomas. We are proud of both our history and culture!

We are seeking a candidate who has the ability to teach to a diverse set of learners (i.e. culture, ethnicity, race, neurodiversity). Someone who demonstrates grace, patience and excellent observational and communication skills. Someone who is organized, can multitask, keep calm under pressure, and treat everyone with love and respect. We are a community of dedicated Montessorians, AMI accredited at the Primary level.
