Available positions in Del Mar Academy

Del Mar Academy, a bilingual Montessori school in the coastal jungle of Costa Rica, is seeking to fill the following positions for the 2013-2014 academic year (September 2013 to early August 2014).

1) An experienced lead teacher for a Montessori Lower Elementary classroom, grades 1 3. The ideal candidate is Montessori-certifiedand bilingual in English and Spanish.

2) Anexperienced lead teacher for an Upper Elementary classroom, grades 4 6. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish and English, speaks Spanish with native proficiency, and is familiar with the Costa Rican Ministry of Education curriculum. The classroom provides a bridge between Montessori instruction and the International Baccalaureate program, so training in either is preferred.

3) An learning specialist with experience in Costa Rica to work with students in preschool through grade 8. The position is 60% of full time (3 days per week) with the potential for additional private tutoring and learning support referrals.
